good point..

i played the demo too... and like u said, the graphics were impressive! everything about the game was good... except:

1- the cam angle.. a default camera should never be that far away, u can hardly see the players do their tricks

2- it FELT slow... for some weird reason

Yeah, i wasn't happy with the pace to be honest. Then, i couldn't really figure out if that pace was realistic or not either...

Yes, when I played the demo I agree it was a bit slow. But remeber, it IS a DEMO only, they dont add everything. When u have the game, it is actually faster and the shooting is better. And the graphics are too good. Gameplay is great.

Thing with Fifa it's about a 7/10 game. Consistently. I don't think it's ever received higher than an 8 in the history of the franchise. Conversely, Pro Evo has never got below a 9/10.

Thats because its overated and more well known. I mean even if the gameplay is better then Fifa, how MUCH better can it get, theres only so much that you can do and I think Fifa is almost there. I mean, like last years Pro Evo, my freind played it and he said its nothing special and they didnt even have licenses for teams like Chelsea. Now Fifa has like every license, every ball, every shoe, I mean its more realistic.

Only a FIFA fanboy would disagree with unbiased reviewers.

FIFA is FAR more well known than Pro Evo. Think about it. It's got EA behind it, the world's largest games publisher...the amount they spend on advertising is obscene. There's always some stupid little kid in the game shop picking FIFA over Pro Evo because he saw the advert on tv.

Licenses don't make up for the playability. Seriously. All you're saying is 'it looks real, thus it's better'. You say your friend played Pro Evo? How about YOU play Pro Evo.

They have tried to immitate its gameplay without success.

Fact of the matter is, FIFA still outsells pro evo every year. Crying shame really.

The only people that give FIFA good reviews is gamespy...stupid American website, you know they would.

ive played fifa a while ago... i think it was in the 90's

does NOT compare to PES...

anyway.. fifa have come a long way.

im waiting to check out the demo of PES

i played the fifa 08 demo... was impressed, but still felt i enjoyed the old PES more..

it was too hard to control

thats actually quite a valid point...

ive noticed that, depending on where u live, u tend to either have fifa players or pes players..

the states/canada seem to be an ALL FIFA affair..

whereas i know for a fact that most, if not all, asian countries play PES.

im not sure about europe or the UK.. my best guss is that its a mix of both.

plus, we get pirates PES games, with all the players real names.

Yeah, 'soccer' games in general don't really ship to North America. The only one that realistically would would be FIFA given EA is massive and based on the continent. Otherwise the sport simply isn't popular enough and sales will be limited.

Ghost Reoon Advanced Warfighter 2 is the only one i really played though. Beat it in about 6 or 7 hours. Haven't tried it online yet.

and how much is 40Gig? im an OLD SCHOOL guy, im more familiar with memory cards that we used for ps1 and ps2 ... is there such a thing for ps3? or is everything saved on the hard disk?

how much can you save in a 40gig HD? what about other features in the cheaper one? does it have HDMI?

3- games?
4- free online games ( whereas u pay for the 360 )

Games more than anything...and the price is cheaper which for you seems to be a big issue anyway.

PS3, sure is a little more powerful but it's just an over glorified radiator...online support isn't as good as xbox live, blu-ray isn't going to be successful, no real exclusives apart from MGS and Final Fantasy...etc
