Anyone got one yet? I really want to get it and I'm close to buying it in the next week or so. Price dropped from 680$ + taxes to 500$ + taxes so gotta take advantage :D

Games I would like to get are Motorstorm, Resistance Fall of Man for now. Then Fifa 08 when it comes out and more.

The original has an HDMI cable port iirc. To be quite honest there isnt really much point in shelling out for one at the moment. No one needs the miniscule add ons.

wish i had time to enjoy these "consoles" like i used to... maybe if things ease up after next year, i'll probably get one..
but first i MUST get a proper TV ... a 21" microwave oven/TV isnt my idea of home entertainment

all the reviews i read about sky were horrifying...

Halo will never grace a Sony product.

But yeah, it's out. Me and my mate went to the midnight launch to get it cos we're sad and had nothing better to do. There were 400 people outside the main GAME but we just went to a smaller branch where it was more like 20 - 30 people. I got the last copy that wasn't preordered Very Happy

My friend beat it in 9 hours straight on easy and said it was ok.

It's good. I played the first one and never completed it. Never played the second one. And i beat this one on normal in around 7 hours or so.

Apparently there's a different ending if you beat it on legendary which kinda indicates there may be a Halo 4...

Have to buy a mic to play online on Resistance and also on Rainbow 6 Vegas that I just got. But Im undecided if I should get Warhawk that comes with a mic and its 60$ or just a mic itself with the same price. Anyway Im buying Fifa08 and a new controller soon so Ill be set Very Happy

i know there are ones for the 360... but if you get cought playing online, you get banned.

Fifa has always been inferior. Read any review and PES always comes on top. FIFA 07 was shit, it had no tricks or anything. The only thing that FIFA has is graphics....but that doesn't make up for the sheer playability of PES. It has nothing on PES' gameplay.

I just bought Fifa08 and I can tell you its the best Fifa yet and I love it. Its addicitng and fun, Be A Pro mode is crazy, and when you score you wanna jump up and down to celebrate, why? I dont no I guess its cause you work hard for your goal just like in real life. Anyways its realistic and graphics are great, also new stuff added like real boots, Netherlands are in, Materazzi is in, I just love it.

Each year it's the 'best' FIFA yet but still, every year it never tops Pro Evo.

I will give 08 one thing though having played the demo, it is pretty realistic in so far as the pace of the game goes. It kinda chugs along and makes you work to achieve anything. Still sticking with Pro Evo though, graphics don't make a game.
