| £60 or £70 with the guitar.
I don't think you 'need' it per-say, but it's a hell of a lot better if you have one.

| a desktop = hardly switched off ... always downloading stuff and used for entertainment ( i watch more TV on my computer than i do on my real TV )
laptop= something to take to work with me.. small, light, easy to work on.
i hate working on a 13" screen all day, which is why i prefer a desktop with a nice big screen
easy on the eyes mate
and more comfortable | |

| im using my old latitude D510 laptop for all these things...
but i think its a bit too much to handle for a laptop
it takes a good 6-7 minutes to start up
and if i switch on the GUEST mode... it takes 10 min
i could use this thing for another 3 years i think...
oh, and another thing
how's vodafone? ive never tried them... but am thinking of switching over to get the free N95 8G for free with the 35 quid / 18 months contract.
what do u think? | |

300 min

| I had a vodafone tarrif a long time ago and i just remember it being expensive, but i had bloody good coverage compared with my mate's on 02 and orange. Maybe the prices have changed? I don't really have a problem with them, but i use 02 because most others are on it. If you're calling a phone on another network it'll cost you more.
Unused minutes don't generally roll over afaik.

| LoL fair enough... mobile phones and tariffs arent exactly a hot topic.. so i didnt bother opening a separate thread for them anyway... lets walk back to our topic ;p ps3 games It looks like Street Fighter Alpha will be making its way to both PlayStation 3 and PSP. The retro fighter has been discovered on the ESRB Game Ratings website with PS3 and PSP both listed as platforms, and the ESRB website is usually a solid precursor for games that have yet to be announced. Having appeared on the original PSOne, in all likelihood this title will be available at the PlayStation store at a cheapie price. The original reception for Street Fighter Alpha was not all warm and cuddly. In fact, Wikipedia reports that some of the producers and programmers have lamented that the sequel, Street Fighter Alpha 2 was the game they had wished the original to be. Previous platforms SFA has appeared on include: Arcade, Game Boy Color, PS1, PS2, Sega Saturn, Windows, and Capcom CPS Changer. | |

| Up comming games are worth playing : fracture, COndemned 2 , and HAze. iF you ever played condemned 1, and liked it you should love the sequal, man what a game. YOu can only enjoy this game with HDTV + surround other wise dont buy it. there are places in the game, where you really jump from your place and need to lower the sound. | |

| I would love to play Haze soon. When's it coming out? BTW, Fifa Street 3 and Turok demos are out in the Playstation Store! Fifa Street 3 is ok but feels kind of repetitive for now. Turok is pissing me off. As cool as it looks, your trying to get out of a pitch black cave, I mean what other way then to "attract" the gamer it really makes the game bad. I mean I know that is only 1 mission or wtv, but you don;t even have a light or anything. Just trying to guess where to go in the dark while getting attacked by Dinosaurs | |

| 'Kane & Lynch' ads banned by ASAWednesday, April 9 2008, 15:32 BST By David Gibbon, Gaming Reporter Rex Features Three promotional ads for video game Kane & Lynch: Dead Man have been banned by the ASA after it upheld 26 complaints. The Advertising Standards Authority has ordered Eidos not to print or broadcast the ads again, describing the campaign as "violent" and "shocking". One ad, which shows a gagged woman crying and having her head held back by one of the pair, was printed in a games magazine and in Total Film. The ASA commented: "The portrayal of violence it contained, with particular regard to the female hostage, was graphic and too shocking to be seen in an untargeted medium." In another press ad, Eidos describes the game as: "Grittier and nastier in tone than anything you've seen before. The violence here is visceral, brutal and very, very real." In response, the ASA said the ad was "likely to be seen as condoning and glorifying real violence", and was also irresponsible and "likely to cause serious or widespread offence". A Channel 4 and Channel Five TV ad for the game was also banned by the ASA after it concluded that it breached its code on harm and offence, violence and cruelty and personal distress. The TV broadcast, which featured a scene in which a man with a bloodied face appeared to have his throat cut, forced both Channel 4 and Channel Five to apologise to viewers for any distress caused. | |
