| After a flurry of rumors, it’s finally confirmed that the much awaited BioShock is all set to arrive on the PS3. Its time for PS3 owners to rejoice and engage in an interesting game of BioShock on their consoles. The news no longer remains a rumor as gaming site 1UP/EGM has confirmed about BioShock is shooting itself to the PS3 soon during the holiday season. The game, which has been available for PC and the Xbox 360 gamers for quite a long time will soon entertain the PS3 users. Surviving through the City of Rapture, the game has the ability to make you rise up the seats. The game involves walking through the littered corpses, hacking mechanical devices and genetically modifying the body via the Plasmid Stations spread across the city. The game was supposed to be an Xbox 360 exclusive earlier, but now the news has been confirmed that BioShock hits PS3 platforms. Take Two have been denying the news for so long, but finally accept about the confirmed news. The game which has been a huge hit on the PC platform is set to rock the PS3. | |

| It's awful how all the PS3's best games are multi-format.
I'm beginning to think mine was a wasted birthday present. It stands as an over priced DVD player in my room at the moment.

| Yeah, that's what it means.
I haven't started buying blu-ray yet, partly due to the expense and minimal difference i'd see.

| I do love the piece of kit itself though, for it's sleekness, coolness and quietness...
But yeah, over priced paper weight.
At least a 360 is £160 now.

| On Tuesday, Capcom announced that its Street Fighter IV game would soon find its way to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. However, this was the entire statement, as no further information, regarding the upcoming game’s price or release date, has been released. Street Fighter IV is said to be anything but a slightly graphically improved version of the old game. Its new cel-shaded visuals and modified gameplay mechanics are to offer the perfect fight setting for the already popular old characters, such as Ryu, Ken or Guile, as well as for the newcomers, like Abel and Crimson Viper. Fans should check out the game's official website on May 30; that is when several new characters will be revealed.Street Fighter’s story goes back more than twenty years; the first version was released by Capcom in August 1987. Since then, with each of the game’s many sequals and versions, its graphics and player options have constantly advanced; in time, Street Fighter versions have been created to pretty much cover any gaming platform out there. It is probably one of the most iconic games in history, and even though today’s game ideas and offerings are much more diverse than they used to be, Street Fighter’s fan base continues to increase with each passing day. | |
