PS3 games

Hi every body, it seems Iam on fire today writing so many posts, well this section is one of my favs. I do have both consoles Ps3 and Xbox, However, PS3 games are hitting the market faster than expected and trying to catch up with xbox. If u do have a PC then you already saved $100s on games, since xbox games already on PC most of them. However, PS3 is something else, for those of u fans love METAL GEAR which is exlusivley on PS3 will know what I am talking about, and appreciate the fact that PS3 rules.

whats amazing too, that Sony just introduces a new cheaper version of PS3, that dont have backward technology. Well today almost no body uses Ps2 games if u have PS3 ??!?!. Then again its BIZ. I will post some reviews for many games, although I know I cant be compared to many topsites like IGN. Still, were here to share thoughts... later

wat're the latest/best games in the market now...

Now I am playin Jericho, what can I say about this game kind of strange, I heard that there is a movie or a show about it. Not sure really, However, the story doesnt add up, kinda out of this world if you know what Iam sayin if you already bought it.

The game play some times becomes slow, when you change characters, this is a huge CON. I havent finished it yet, but I love the graphics and love the action.

Note: no online gamming :(

plz give us your reviews & thoughts for any new games like Uncharted , NEED FOR SPEED PRO STREET, MEDAL OF HONOR latest one and many new games. Its really bothering to buy a new game and waste money on some garbage like THE DARKNESS ( D-).

Hey MILANFAN9, well good luck with COD 4, I just love this game, havent played the 4th one yet, but soon. I do have resistance who doesnt , If you do love resistance and your a first person guy, welcome to the club. I know many people that cant stand playing first person games, some how they get dizzy just like space astronaunts. I love completing the game using co-op mode, which is so nice on a HDTV screen 37 inches and above.

I have finished rainbow six on xbox long time ago, but didnt feel the adrenaline rush like resistance or shall I say GHOST RECON advance warfighter.

For sports, I did try FiFa but to be honest I found it hard to play, maybe b/c Im use to WIN 11, which I just bought and love it (but sometimes unfortunatley gets slow near the goaly, or when a corner is played).

some of my own Game ratings:

1) Resistance: 10/10 ( A must ) for First Person (FP)
2) Ridge Racer 7 8/10 (not need for speed but nice)
3) Heavenly sword 8/10 (love it, nice sixaxis compat)
4)The darkness 6/10 (dont waste your money)
5) Fear 6/10 ( buy it if u love to get freaked out)
6) PES 2008 or WIN 11 2008 9/10 (LOVE IT)
7) MOTOR storm 5/10 (dont even think of it)
Ghost Recon AW 8/10 (nice co-op game)
9) Jericho ( still playing it rating pending)...

dont forget to mention that ppl shouldnt, i repeat, SHOULD NOT play resistance.. and straight afterwards play ghost recon!

big mistake

Play some story mode yesterday of COD 4, I was very impressed. Graphics are amazing! Gameplay is also very good. Online is great, at least its not impossible to kill like in Resistance online. BTW I also like Resistance but its kinda stupid that u waste ur whole clip trying to kill someone and yes online up to 40 player sis great, but you cant kill anyone and its impossible.

what about ghost recon? is it any good online? its a bit hard to get used to...

i think you need to play with surround sound for this game.. so you can hear from which direction the enemy is coming or firing.. if u dont have surround sound, its a big negative for you.

anyway.. im looking forward to kicking ass again

Oh ya and I forgot to mention, theres so many games coming out this month!!! I mean wtf I went to Walmart yesterday and theres Guitar Hero 3 which looks sick, theres Need for Speed, theres Assasins Creed, theres COD4, theres Jericho (I think), WTF lol! Anyone mind lending me some moola

Well good for you...I just love games, and for COD 4 I will try to get it soon...and hey try buying from game stop, I used to buy some of their games and if I could finish them on time and wana throw it, I sell it to them instead. I usually loose $ 20 of any game after the 1st week of its release, belive me its not bad for games like THE DARKNESS and stupid non-online games that you cant keep for ever.

While you get some cash buy some used games for almost $ 25-35 range and most are a keeper.

Don't mean to piss on you PS3 fan boy's parade, but all those 'exclusive' games you reviewed are average. Best games on the PS3 are all multi-format anyway.

In other words???? your an XBOX fan, dude I have XBOX, PC, PS3, they are all the same, it only depends on what games that are execlusive on a console..Just like HALO which I love, and metal gear on PS3 and so on...If you have the money you cant blame the consoles

Nah. I was always a Sony boy until the PS3 came out. I wanted a next-gen console but the PS3 was so ridiculously priced that it didn't represent value for money. Conversely, if you look at the catalogue of games on both consoles the 360 has more exclusives and generally better games. Further, there's no guarantee MGS will stay exclusive to Sony, considering we saw an MGS game on the old XBox.

In your review list you only named 3 games that are only on PS3, Resistance, Motorstorm and Heavenly Sword.

Resistance is solid, but doesn't push any boundaries. It has its moments also where you're forced to wonder if it's actually a 3rd gen game.

Motorstorm i find it ironic you gave it 5/10 when most reviewers said it was the best launch title.

Heavenly Sword turned out to be overhyped from the reviews i read.

Everything else you listed is on the 360...and generally games i wouldn't take a second look at.

I don't hate the PS3, if they remake Final Fantasy VII or a new Final Fantasy i would buy the console just for this. But there's just no games on the damn thing that make it worth it imho.

mmm I like your posts, and the way you handle your chain of thoughts...In the gamming world or any biz company...the more the companies compete with each other the more the conumers would be happy..I guess you heard that PS3 now will be cheaper, and will remove backward technology..

If you had worked in a company, firm or any biz field...there is always a department that studies the DEMAND and SUPPLY goal..and those people work day and night just to find something that suit you as a consumer..For the gaming industry, the technology is endless and we dont know what the future will hold...

However, SONY and MICROSOFT both will fight to the end, and many companies will fail to reach the top, just like 3DO if you guys remember it , made by panasonic...although 3DO had some relastic arcade games, which none of these new consoles have...

If you wana have fun and make big $$ one big advice. ( open your own video game store) and buy and sell video games, also rent if you had...belive me, you wil have fun and will always be updated with games and make money..

In our country, there is this huge complex, or mall. that only sells video games..and each and one of those stores make big $$, even though they dont rent and dont buy used games...

MOst who started this biz, are between 23 to 40 years old, which is not bad at all, and when you make good customers, and have a work shop, with good technicians ...your good to go..

I have it although haven't really given it a whirl yet. Playing COD 4 at the mo and it's awesome.

And Mass Effect, Ace Combat 6 and Guitar Hero 3 tomorrow

but i wanted to get him Virtua Tennis for his sad ass B-day (big tennis fan)

but it was out of stock from amazon.

they had it on sale... with a ps3 controller for less than half the price.
