loool I saw the you tube clips ALIQUE . It seems you love looking under the carpet alot...What ever companies do, you have to think and wonder for a moment..who is profiting from all of this crap...???if you do have stocks in Microsoft, sony , or nint. Then I can say to you well done and good luck for the boost in your stocks profits..other wise we can all go back to square one and have wars on things we dont own and not profit from..

Just like apple and microsoft, just like BMW and MERC, just like ferrari and lambo..and so on..at the end of the day you dont have any extra money..you owe them.. I know..

Seriosuly, people can bitch all they want about the PS3 when they know it won't fk up on them and have to pay extra shit for nothing like Wi Fi and Online.

Because all you bitchnezes have PS3s and thus have no need to chat in the 360 thread. As it goes there's about 4 really active members...50% of whom own PS3s...i can't compete with that.

As for stocks in Sony...no thanks, they went down after the PS3's launch. I do however enjoy my Sony Bravia HDTV :p

I knew my last line would spice up thing lol....I do have an xbox 360 alique and again I told all of you that it was fried up, and 4 days ago the only remaining thing was suitable to sell was the dvd , and i guess it was from samsung...and it got me some nice $ ...I wanted to buy xbox elite, just for my fav game HALO...

But, since I aready spent many $ on ps3 games, I cant even go to the movies...

For the bravia HDTV its very nice, my freind has one, and to me there many cool hdtv comming out soon..

So lets live in peace and harmony...and only discuss PS3 games in this thread..

Jack Tretton: PS3 is About 'Short-Term Sacrifices'



In an interview with MSNBC, Sony's Jack Tretton admits that the PS3
may be more machine than the average consumer is looking for, but says
"I don't know that we expect or need them to be ready for it."

Sony, he explains, is taking the long view with the PS3, and if that
means taking some hits in the short term so that the console can win in
the long term, so be it. "If you summed up the mission statement for
PS3, it's short-term sacrifices for long-term gains," he says.

Tretton references the lack of console availability at launch and
the dearth of PS3 of exclusives to date as some of those short-term
sacrifices, describing PS3's first year as being plagued with
"missteps."

With 19 exclusives that he says "just couldn't be done on any other
platform," Tretton is excited about going "into the holiday season with
a fully loaded weapon as compared to last year."

So, i gots me a PS3 with Resistance, Singstar and Warhawk.

Problem; What other games are worth getting? Don't bother me with multi-format stuff, chances are i have it on the 360. I was thinking Uncharted, but the premise doesn't really grab me. Can't really think of anything else.

i hear uncharted was pretty good

i take it you already have COD4 and PES08

hmmmm other than those games... i think its an even match between the two consoles

The exclusives on the PS3 are few and far between. Their best games are multi-format...Uncharted is supposed to be really good but the PS3 library doesn't seem to have anything akin to Halo, Mass Effect, Ace Combat, Gears of War, Bioshock etc.

I'm stumped tbh...and i want something to play :'(

im still playing PES08 .. you cant get bored of that game.. especially on the ps3

i cant play it on the 360... i dont like to control players using the analogue stick.

It's much more intuitive to use an analogue. You have greater control. I used to be like you, but then was forced to get comfortable with it. Plus Dpad makes for sore thumbs.

PES08 is best played with friends. As a single player experience it's quite shitty.

yeah... i NEVER played it alone

but think of it this way.. you HAVE to win a couple of cups to "unlock" any teams they have..

which gives you more options to chose from when you play your friends

it'll be weird at first, but stick with it. you'll wonder how you ever played with a dpad in the first place.

Alique I think Haze came out for PS3 and looks good. Also try getting Rock Band or Guitar Hero 3. Oh ya and also get Unreal Tournament 3 as right now its only out for PS3 and PC.

I have guitar hero iii on 360, and plan on getting rock band for it too. Any multi format game i want on the 360 tbh.

But yeah, i heard of Haze. Is it actually out yet? looks interesting.

I reckon Unreal 3 will be on 360 soon enough. Having said that, i don't really want it.
