I even played it with JB.... poor guy tried so hard to dress it up as a good game, but ended up selling it or giving it away.
if you've played COD ... you'll throw this game out the window

| Counting Down to Siren for PS3It's been confirmed that the blood-dripping countdown clock over at the PlayStation Japan site -- still ticking down as of this writing, with just over 40 hours to go -- is set to announce a new game in the survival horror series Siren for the PlayStation 3. A leaked image of this week's issue of game magazine Famitsu (out this Friday) reveals that the game will be called Siren: New Translation, and will in fact be a remake of the original. A demo for the game will be available on April 24th, with the full game set to hit stores in Japan on July 24th. Image: Jean Snow/Wired.com | |

| Having now finished rolling out its PlayStation store update one would hope Sony could set to work churning out some decent, compelling content to persuade PS3 owners to use it. A hope that seems set to be fulfilled if a post on the PlayStation Blog by Senior Vice President of Marketing and PlayStation Network, Peter Dille, is anything to go by. While the majority of the post does refer to gaming content, as one would expect given that is what's currently offered, Dille also talks about video content. " We'll be offering a video service for PS3 in a way that separates the service from others you've seen or used. Ultimately the goal of the PLAYSTATION Network service will be to break through the overwhelming clutter of digital media to give you the TV, movies and gaming content you want. More on this very soon…" In the UK at least the forthcoming PlayTV tuner would go a large way towards fulfilling those TV pretentions, and the eventually-coming BBC iPlayer would go the rest - in my humble opinion anyway. On the film side of things, though, we've yet to see anything other than trailers on the PlayStation Store. On the plus side, Sony does have the advantage of having a long history in the film industry, so adding another medium to its distribution network. While the PS3 does have Blu-ray for playing HD content, there are doubtless many PS3 owners who would appreciate, and prefer, the option of downloading films. And of course it would remove one of the Xbox 360's arguable advantages over the PlayStation. Okay, so I may be getting a bet ahead of myself, and Sony, here, but official word confirming that these features is much welcome. Link: PlayStation Blog. | |

| Mystery Game Confirmed: Siren PS3 Yesterday, we learned about a mystery countdown page at the official Japanese PlayStation site, and as of now, we still have 35 hours to go. But perhaps unfortunately, Famitsu has erased any drama the final 00:00:00 unveiling would've had, as the Japanese gaming mag has already revealed the game in question. According to Kotaku and Famitsu, when that countdown is done, Sony will reveal Siren: New Translation, the next installment in the intriguing survival/horror series that resonated on the PS2 with fans of the genre. This new Sirenwill be exclusive to the PlayStation 3 (it's published by Sony, so...duh) and evidently, it's a "reworking" of the original title. It has managed to elude game journalists very well, though, as it's already 90% complete and the final game will hit stores on July 24. Even better, Sony is preparing a demo for April 24, which is just around the corner. However, we assume these dates correspond only to Japan, but we'll try to confirm US and European dates for you very soon. We'd also like to get a better understanding of the word "rework," because we're wondering - besides the obvious graphical upgrade - what may be added/enhanced in New Translation. Well, considering how far along they are in the development process, we figure we'll be seeing plenty of new details and media over the next few weeks. And when the info arrives, we'll be sure to get up a preview for ya. | |

| Devil May cry is one of my favourites.. I rate this game B+, if you like this type of game you should also play ninja guid. I like the graphics , game play, and the story line.
However, sometimes only sometimes u need some walkthough guides if you get into a pinch..
over all, worth playing this game, and upgrading your moves and weapons is really cool in this game.

| DMC4 is a must game, turn of events, half way through the game, i was surprised that dante and nero switched roles and I continued on with the original chracter of the story DANTE the son of sparda ooooooooh.
Well, I had to learn new movies all over again, but getting new weapons and advancing to the final stages was nice. Actually you are going back where everything started with the first character nero. If you havent played it yet, you need to...Its the same old god of war, hevenly sword like games, but with new ideas....
Im almost at the end.. | |

| I hate stealth, thus have never really got into the MGS franchise. My housemate (who does not have a PS3) will however buy it just so he can play it on mine, lol.
I am curious about HAZE though which should be out very soon. Maybe worth boosting my PS3 games catalogue to 4! lol.

| Sony announces firmware update for PS3Fixes "instability" of some PS3 titles, but not GTA IV Sony has announced that firmware update version 2.35 is on its way for PlayStation 3, but that it only contains minor bug fixes. On the official Sony blog Eric Lempel, director of PlayStation Network Operations, wrote: "I just wanted to give everyone a quick heads up that a PS3 firmware update (v2.35) will be released shortly. This is a relatively minor update to improve stability of some PS3 titles". However, if you've been having problems with GTA IV on your PS3, this update won't solve that. Sony?s Al de Leon commented on the blog thread adding: "I just want to clarify that this ... firmware update isn?t related to GTA IV". But worry not GTA fans, there is a solution out there. "For those of you who may still have an issue playing the game on your PS3, we have identified a solution that should resolve the issue", said de Leon. "You can contact SCEA Consumer Services for support ? their contact info and hours of service, as well as more information on this issue, are available in our Knowledge Center." | |
