| Arsenal will be without Flamini when they face ManUtd
this is a major blow :r
i feel bad for them .. they wouldve had a chance if he was with them.. but fabregas cant do it all alone.
i expect manU to win | |

| Compared to other teams Arsenal badly lack depth. Whenever one player's hurt it's a major crisis. Guess one day they'll start using some of the cash they're flushed with since they moved to their new stadium. They've always prided themselves in spending wisely, and with good reason, but if they really want to compete on many fronts, I think they should adjust their transfer policy slightly | |

| Saw an interview with Wenger on 'Inside Sport'. Apparently he doesn't like spending money that isn't earned. Thus, he will only spend revenue from competitions, tv rights etc. It's a personal thing for him.
Would explain a thing or two given that he has a degree in engineering and masters in economics.

| you'd think he'd learn from his fuck ups....
how fuckin shallow is arsenal's bench?
unless by some miracle none of the players get injured... prepare yourself for another " close, but not there yet" season.

| Flamini gone, Hleb apparently leaving, and with Arsenal already having squad depth problems, they should start buying soon. I like the idea of ben Arfa going there, but it won't be enough. This year, Arsene will have to change his policiy a bit and use his available money to strenghten his squad. He needs more horses, that's all. Another season where their lack of depth will cost them silverware could annoy core players like Fabregas and make them think about leaving... | |

| Makoun looks to be on his way. He was a very good DM a few years ago, and seems to have fallen off the map since Lilles hasnt been playing CL. | |

| i think wenger knows this... and IS willing to spend some money... their heartbreak exit from the CL and EPL due to their weak bench really hit him, and his players...
but im not gonna make a mistake of underestimating wenger.... never again
the guy sells his BEST PLAYERS.. only to have replacements lined up that are younger and potentially better.
no worries here | |

| Wenger is a genius. But he seems to pride himself by not spending as much as the others, and in my opinion this has cost him dearly this year. | |

| I think what Arsenal need is depth, and they can get it as long as Wenger decides to spend some money. As far as Livo goes, they should need only a few astute buys to compete, but can and would they do it? | |

| What kind of game is Adebayor playing? To me it looks like he's trying to get a pay raise by faking interest for other clubs. Am I right? | |
