| Title is self explanitory.
Chelsea have completed the signing of Jose Bosingwa from Porto.
The Blues agreed a £16.2million fee with Porto for the right-back over the weekend and the player arrived in England for talks and a medical on Monday. The Portuguese international has swiftly agreed personal terms and passed a medical to seal his switch to Stamford Bridge. Bosingwa is highly-rated after impressing for Porto and Portugal in recent seasons and he attracted interest from Manchester United and Aston Villa However, Chelsea have moved to lure him to West London as they see Bosingwa as the solution to their problematic right-back spot with Michael Essien being forced to play there in recent weeks. Dream move
Bosingwa admitted it was a dream of his to play in England and he is believes he can become a better player at Chelsea. "I have friends who are at Chelsea and it's a club I feel I can improve at and grow as a player," Bosingwa told Chelsea TV. "I've always had a dream to play in England - I always watched the Premier League as a child, I love the English game and now I'm here I'm going to work to do my best. "I played for a big team in Porto and now I'm going to play for a bigger team in Chelsea. My aim is to win titles." Bosingwa's arrival raises doubts about the long-term future of Juliano Belletti who has been frozen out Avram Grant's plans in the last few months of the season. The 25-year-old becomes Chelsea's first new signing of the summer and he is unlikely to be the last as the Blues look to build a squad capable of wrestling the Premier League crown away from Manchester United next term.

| I think the transfer is a joke, considering Micah Richards will probably only cost 4million quid more and is a much better defender. | |

| thats what money does ... you go after a Portuguese player, they follow you, and buy him from under your nose with more money..
in other news... arsenal just signed ben arfa...
somehow i feel like nasri and benzema WOULD sign for arsenal in a couple of season.. IF .. they had enough money.

| I donno about Ben Arfa, he plays really well in France, but when he played against Utd in the CL, he was average. I dont see him as a big game player, and I personally prefer young talent like Nani, Narsi, Silva over him. | |

| Man United sign Welsh wizard Aaron Ramsey for £5million
Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to beat Chelsea and Arsenal - by signing Welsh wizard Aaron Ramsey for £5million.
The Manchester United boss opened talks to land the 17-year-old from FA Cup finalists Cardiff City just 24 hours after clinching the Premier League title.
Ramsey's advisers are keen and the transfer is expected to be officially announced after Cardiff's Wembley date on Saturday. Midfield starlet Ramsey is viewed as the long-term replacement for Paul Scholes.
It will be a blow for Arsene Wenger, who wants the superkid to join his youthful ranks at Arsenal. And Chelsea have also been looking at Ramsey as a squad man and one for the future.
But Avram Grant has not moved as swiftly as his Champions League final opponents. United could offer Cardiff a player or two on loan next season as a sweetener.

| I disagree.
We have Foster who is more than capable, and Kuz is solid. He's nothing special, but the real man is Foster. We have pretty much 3 starting premiership keepers if they were on other teams.

| VDS has a year or two left in him...
but to be honest. you have to start the poor youngsters to give them a chance to mature and gain confidence and understanding with the defence.
thats all up to the manager and the keepers coach

| Foster was brilliant with Watford last yr, unfortunately he was injured this term.
Kuz did play on a Prem team before as well. Plus the experience he recieves at OT is priceless.

| Eto'o: I Want To Play In England
Having become fairly frustrated at Barcelona for more than one reason, Samuel Eto’o has revealed he would be delighted to play in the Premier League.
The Cameroon international hasn't had his best season - despite a decent scoring rate - and has recently become frustrated not only with Barcelona's failure to win silverware for the second season in a row, but treatment from the fans.
Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with the player, and he has revealed that he would enjoy playing in the Premier League. The timing of this statement is quite ominous, and the former Real Mallorca and Real Madrid man may well be making a move this summer.
“The Premier League is very good,” Eto’o told Sky Sports.
“The English league is of a very high standard and to play there would be fantastic.
“I would love to be the top-scorer there because I am a top level player and I can play well in any country.”
Reports in Italy suggested that Juventus were willing to do a swap deal with Barcelona and offer the Camp Nou side David Trezeguet plus cash for Eto’o.
However, it seems as if the La Liga striker has his eyes set firmly on the Premier League should he leave Spain.
The Blaugrana have had a poor season, and new manager Josep Guardiola is looking to rebuild this summer. That, of course, will involve keeping key players and allowing others to leave. Where Eto'o finds himself amidst this madness remains to be seen. Salvatore Landolina

| Eto should adapt well to the EPL. I don't see what he'd do with Tottenham, Livo and Arsena already have their target man, the Rooney/Tevez partnership is going too well to bring Eto in ManU, that leaves only Chelsea with the means to buy a guy like Eto'o (assuming of course that Eto'o's not foolish enough to go to Newcastle) | |

| Manchester United defender Gerard Pique is a step closer to returning to Barcelona.
Spanish press reports say Pique was in Barcelona on Friday to undergo a medical, with the £4 million transfer to be rubberstamped immediately after the Champions League final on Wednesday.

unless there are other replacements down the line Pique has only 1 yr left on contract and wasnt going to resign so its not a bad deal. Cash in while we can I figure... Johnny Evans is just as good. He's more of a Vidic whereas, Pique was Rio.
