The 23-year old Portuguese international has been in outstanding
form for United all season and has been a shoe-in for the accolade for
some time.

He has scored an exceptional 38 goals in all
competitions so far this season and his side are in a good position to
win both the Premier League and the Champions League.

"I feel very happy. It is a great moment, it is an honour, a pleasure," said Ronaldo upon receiving the award.
"When you work all season to play good, to do something for the
team, to do your contribution for the team and then at the end of the
season the PFA give you this award, it is a great moment, it is an
honour, a pleasure.
"It is a great motivation to carry on like that, to work more and get better.
"I feel very good but it is not just my award, my team-mates have
helped me a lot this season. They give me good passes to score goals -
and I score - but it is a good moment for me."
Team Of The Year
The PFA team of the year was also announced, and was dominated by
Arsenal (4), Manchester United (3) and Liverpool (2). No Chelsea player
could make it despite the fact that they are joint leaders in the
Premier League.

Strikers: Emmanuel Adebayor (Arsenal), Fernando Torres (Liverpool).

I can agree with pretty much everything on this list. Ashley Young was fantastic this year, as well as Clichy and Sagna. I'm not to sure about James though... And I think some Everton player should have been mentioned as well

No keeper was really outstanding this year, James would qualify as the best of a weak bunch I guess...

well... i would say that james have improved an awful lot since last year, thats probably why he's on the list.

yer... and deservedly so, i think arsenal did amazingly well this season. pity they didnt end it with any silverware.

but bad news on the whole hleb and flamini transfer fiasco .. why on earth would they want to leave.

To be honest i'm sure Wenger will replace them...they're not players i would be overly worried about loosing.
