| The nominations have been revealed for this season's PFA Players' Player of the Year award with six star names vying for the top prize.
Last year's winner Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the nominees along with Arsenal duo Cesc Fabregas and Emmanuel Adebayor. The trio are also in the running for the Young Player of the Year prize.
The three are joined by Liverpool pair Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres, the Spaniard making the list in his first Premier League season. Torres is also in the mix for the Young Player of the Year award.
The nominations for the main prize are completed by Portsmouth goalkeeper David James who has enjoyed a fine season during Pompey's run to the FA Cup final.
Alongside Torres, Fabregas and Ronaldo, Aston Villa pair Gabriel Agbonlahor and Ashley Young are up for the Young Player of the Year award. The six nominees are completed by Manchester City defender Micah Richards.

| ronaldo 1st
torres 2nd
fabregas 3rd
UNLESS .. torres manages to get us to the final and win the CL
that might tip the odds
but for the time being.. i'll stick with the obvious c.r to win it

| I believe rankings and votes are only cast from games in the Prem and not other domestic competitions. Traditionally, the winner is from the Prem winner. | |

| Whatever happens from now on, I don't see anyone catching up on Ronaldo, he's had too much of a good and spectacular year not to win that award | |

| British talent is too fracking expensive. For example, having already rejected £1m bids from Premier League giants Liverpool and Everton for the Caerphilly-born Aaron Ramsey it appears that Manchester United have also taken a shine to the attacker who is rated by the Ninian Park side in the £5m bracket. You can pickup a player of his talent for 2m cheaper from Brazil and Argentina, the only problem is work permets, and even then, if a club has enough influence, they dont matter. | |
