What a great game! I was surprised when I saw our defence but it worked well actualy Smile 2 bad for Simic :( I really like him mainly because of his speed. We could really use him more often as RB.

Spanish Press: Calderon To Meet With Galliani Over Kaka

Marca
claims yet again that Real Madrid are making a move for AC Milan star Kaka.

Bernabeu
president Ramon Calderon is to fly out to the FIFA World Club
Championships alongside Spanish FA president Angel Maria Villar.

And while the Club World Cup itself is the raison d'etre of the trip, Marca
has reported that Calderon will seek an audience with AC Milan
vice-president Adriano Galliani and, if possible, with president Silvio
Berlusconi.

The Madrid man is eager to maintain a positive
relationship with the San Siro club while weighing up their chances of
landing Kaka. Similarly, Calderon is reportedly eager to tell Milan
that Sergio Ramos is not for sale.

Calderon is also looking to
continue his fine friendship with Villar, whom he has pledged to
support for re-election to the RFEF in 2008.

I think it's just another non-sence of the spanish press... they wrote so many bullshit so I stopped even considering things like Kaka exit.

Moratti: I’m Cheering For Milan

Milan are currently in Japan ahead of their semi-final clash next Thursday against either Urawa Red Diamonds, Epahan or Waitakere United.

If as expected they win that, they will then probably face Copa Libertadores winners Boca Juniors in the final.

“I will be cheering for Milan in Japan because I’m Italian,” said Moratti.

Meanwhile in other news, Inter have been linked with a move for Chilean midfielder Carlos Villanueva.

The 21-year-old is a left-footed, attacking midfielder and plays his club football for Audax Italiano.

He
has also played nine times for his national team, scoring once, and is
said to be well liked by Nerazzurri boss Roberto Mancini.

However Inter will face a fight if they are to sign Villanueva, as a host of Spanish sides, including Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla are also interested, as are Brazilian club Palmeiras.

Yea Skorpio, Simic is just bound to leave. Last year he was about to but decided to stay but I guarantee he will leave either in January or in the summer. He's a super sub who always played good when he came on.

Mourinho Set To Take Over At Milan - Report
Reports
in the Italian and English press claim that Jose Mourinho will take
over as Coach of AC Milan for the start of next season.

The ex-Chelsea boss has been out of work since leaving Stamford Bridge by mutual consent in September.

Mourinho
had been the favourite to replace the sacked Steve McClaren as manager
of the English national team, however the Portuguese tactician is
believed to have turned down the Football Association’s job offer.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport and a number of English tabloids, the reason for this rejection is AC Milan.

Current
Rossoneri Coach Carlo Ancelotti is expected to step down at the end of
the current season after seven years in charge of the club.

Carletto will become Coach of the Italian national team if current boss Roberto Donadoni fails to impress at Euro 2008.

If the Azzurri have a fine tournament in Austria and Switzerland, and Donadoni keeps his job, Ancelotti could take over at Barcelona, where Frank Rijkaard is also unlikely to last beyond the end of the current campaign.

Either way, this leaves the Milan hotseat available, and Mourinho is believed to have accepted an offer to replace Ancelotti in the summer.

Mourinho's
agent Jorge Mendes has further added strength to this story by
admitting that his client had a "big job" in the offing, and it was not
the England manager's job.

Mourinho
has a glittering C.V having won two Premier League titles, one FA Cup,
two Portuguese Championships, a Portuguese Cup, a UEFA Cup and a
Champions League during his time at Chelsea and Porto.

I would love to c how he says smth like I want a bigger transfer budget to Berlo Very Happy the lad won't last long he will end up with a shot in the head Very Happy

Milan Put Ł34m Aside For Amauri

AC Milan have set aside Ł34m in order to bring Palermo star Amauri to the club, according to the Corriere della Sera

The
Brazilian hitman has found his form again after suffering a career
threatening injury a year ago, and he has scored five goals in 14
appearances this season.

Milan
are in desperate need of a striker as they currently have just the
injury-plagued Ronaldo, goal-shy Alberto Gilardino, and ageing Filippo
Inzaghi on their books.

Teenage
wonderkid Alexandre Pato will be eligible to play from January, however
Coach Carlo Ancelotti doesn’t want to put to put too much pressure on
him.

The Rossoneri are set to table an Ł18m offer to Palermo in order to lure Amauri to the club.

Once this is accepted the 27-year-old will then be offered a four-year contract worth a staggering Ł4m a-year.

Meanwhile Amauri is set to find out soon if his application for an Italian passport is successful.

The former Chievo Verona star is eligible for dual nationality as he has lived and played in Italy for more than five years.

The powerful marksman is considered as a possible call-up for Roberto Donadoni’s Azzurri squad as he has yet to feature for Brazil.

Kaka: I Dreamed Of Playing For Real Madrid As A Child

Kaka (pictured) spoke to Marca yesterday in Tokyo as he prepares to contest the Club World Cup semi-final against Urawa Red Diamonds today.

Touching on his recent Golden Ball win, the Brazilian said, "Sorry, but I don't think that I'm the best.

"I can be among the three or five best, but not better."

Speaking
amidst the opulent surroundings of the Yokohama Royal Park Hotel, the
conversation inevitably turned towards transfer rumours.

With admirable patience, the 25-year-old once again restarted that he had no desire to leave AC Milan - but he added a caveat.

"I've got no intention of doing anything to leave Milan, but only God knows the future," he mused.

Later,
he added, "As a child, I always dreamed of playing for Real Madrid,"
before discussing the fortunes of the Bernabeu outfit and the Liga in
general.

"Raul hasn't been treated justly of late, and [Iker] Casillas himself could win the Golden Ball," he said.

"Ronaldinho? He is the best in the world, but he's experiencing a very difficult time."

mourinho is an enigma.. the more i think about it.. the more i believe real madrid are the team that'll swoop him up. (once ze german fails)

San Siro fans in silent protest
The Milan derby will be silent as the Ultra of Inter and Milan unite in protest against the enhanced anti-hooliganism laws.

A derby without freedom to celebrate does not deserve our warmth,” read a
statement released in conjunction by the Curva Nord Milano 1969 and
Milan’s Curva Sud.
This is a decision that troubled us, but has been made by the two organised
fan groups as a provocation to force people to reflect on the
perseverance of a repressive approach that is mutilating, if not
completely annihilating, the healthy aspects of the Ultra.”
This suggests that not only will the two Curve – the ends of the stadium
where the hardline fans sit – be silent during the match, but they will
also refuse to bring out the choreographed giant banners and
pyrotechnics that make the Milan derby such a spectacular event.
It is a protest against the new laws brought into effect after the rioting
that followed the accidental shooting of Lazio supporter Gabriele
Sandri.
Some of the moves were clampdowns on organised groups of supporters
travelling to away games, while others required a fax to police several
days before the match confirming what banners would be displayed.
The shock announcement comes during the same weekend that FIGC President
Giancarlo Abete opened the door to an easier rapport with the Ultra.
We intend to dialogue with the non-violent Ultra to overcome the
difficulties that we have had to face in recent years,” he told ‘Sport
2000.
2008 will be a difficult year and one of recovery as we try to get back the
important values in football. Violence must be removed from stadiums
and the sport become an event to be celebrated.
“Those who makes mistakes will pay, they cannot think of living in an Eden outside of reality.”

I have a suggestion let's burn FIGC head quarters
unity
