| Now they're willing to sell Henry. Thing is, they've been contaminated by Madrid's "Galactico" folly. Can't these guys learn from other people's mistakes? | |

| stupid fans IMO .. when fans disrupt the team and get into the managers head, they mess things up.
they thought they were the best team in the world.. which they WERE.. for a year.. but once you underestimate the teams you face, you get spanked.
it happened when they faced us last year..
and it'll happen when they face man utd this year..

| I think he's going back to England, but not one of the big four. Man City? Portsmouth? West Ham? | |

| Eto'o: We Can Dream About The Final
Samuel Eto'o believes that Barcelona must not feel inferior to Manchester United and can begin to dream about appearing in the Champions League final next month.
The Cameroonian forward called on his team-mates to be confident about overcoming the Premier League leaders in the semi finals of Europe's elite club competition.
While the rest of the squad remained reserved about their meeting with United, Eto'o came out and said what many Barcelona fans must be thinking.
"We can dream about playing in the final," he stated. "Why can we not dream? We are Barça, a very important club like Manchester United and with similar star players. We cannot feel inferior."
"I am sure that with Lionel Messi and Deco we will improve. We will see how we can do in the semi finals and winning the first game will be very important."
Thierry Henry agreed that the return of key players from injury would help and he is excited about facing a United side that were Arsenal's main adversaries during his days at Highbury.
"Playing in the semi finals is exciting. We will play against a team in incredible form," he said. "Now Deco and Messi are coming back and that is positive for us."
"We have had to work very hard, but in the Champions League it is never easy to win. I remember when Barça played Benfica and the Portuguese side had a lot of chances and Barça ended up winning the trophy."
After edging past Schalke over the two legs of the quarter final, Henry admitted that while everyone wanted attractive football, he was pleased that Barça could also scrape wins.
"We want to play better and we can, but we also have to know how to win like this," he added.

| They're out of everything now. Made a good run in the CL, but with the players they had, and considering that MAdrid didn't really have a great year, they should have run away with the title. In my crystall ball, I see a cleanup of herculean proportions. Ronnie, Henry, Rijkaard, Deco, and more.... | |

| I find their season to be both sad and pathetic .... barca have finally fallen into the galacticos trap.
why on earth would you need henry/messi/ronaldinho/etoo in one team?
money wasted
etoo... come to liverpool s'il vous plait :p

| Crouch is a sub, but I can't see either Torres or Eto'o playing second fiddle. DO you think they could play together? I have reservations | |

| crouch to me is gone .... he will ALWAYS be the "other" striker... walking in the shadow of torres.. and rightly so... he knows it, and accepts it.
but.. he seems to believe he needs to play for another club to start in more games, and get noticed by cabbage man capello.
if he leaves.. its his loss..
he's just setting himself up for unsuccessful games.. and ultimately, shit success with england. its his career.. his decision.
i was kidding about etoo.. i dont know if he's leaving barca or not
but i believe that torres needs a partner, besides gerrard, cuz we missed him in midfield.
but ultimately, we need better defenders
hyypia / carra / finnan / riise / even aurelio are as good as dead
they're not LEAGUE fit defenders
they can pull off amazing 2 legged games
but cant streach out a league
due to age, injury , and just being crap (riise)
anyway...... im interested to see what barca have to do now... with so many transfers in the pipeline
